In 2007, Murgor Resources Inc. performed reconnaissance prospecting over areas northwest of Flin Flon that they thought prospective for VMS style mineralization,, one of these being Gifford Bay. In 2008, Murgor commissioned an airborne VTEM survey to cover Gifford Bay among several other blocks to the south. Interpretation by Condor Consulting indicated 10 medium to high priority conductive zones within Ripple’s Gifford Bay property area. In the same year Murgor commissioned ground Time Domain Electromagnetic (TDEM) surveys to detail the VTEM anomalies and later that same year, contracted two drill holes totalling 670 meters on their Gifford Bay grid.

DDH MSK08-006 targeted the ground TDEM anomaly on the north portion of the grid, intersecting strongly altered gneiss containing garnet, cordierite, sillimanite, anthophyllite and biotite. The target anomaly was intersected from 236.09 m to 238.23 m with near solid sulphide consisting of 1-2% sphalerite, 1% chalcopyrite, 5-7% pyrite and 30-50% pyrrhotite. A narrower zone of disseminated sulphides was encountered from 289.18 m to 290.60 m. The upper zone returned assays of 0.51% Cu, 1.49% Zn and 9.6 g/t Ag and 0.75 g/t Au. The lower zone returned assays of 0.87% Cu, 0.64% Zn and 8.9 g/t Ag.

DDH MSK08-007 targeted the same ground TDEM anomaly but furthur to the south on the Gifford grid. The hole again encountered heavily altered gneiss, with a band of disseminated sulphides at 177.28 m and a section of 10% pyrrhotite from 186.27 m to 187.04 m. The upper zone returned assays of 1.07% Cu and 13.3 g/t Ag. The lower zone returned assays of 0.87% Cu, 0.64% Zn and 8.9 g/t Ag.
